Nutmeg, one of the “Disneyland cats,” was so popular, he has artwork and a cocktail dedicated to him in the park.
They’re so adored that there are hugely popular fan accounts dedicated to them, like Disneyland Cats and Cats of Disneyland. The cats live all over the resort, like at the Disneyland Hotel, in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park and in the Grizzly Peak area of Disney California Adventure.
By far, the most popular of the Disneyland cats was Nutmeg, who passed away earlier in May. Nutmeg lived in Grizzly Peak and loved to make appearances on the Magic Key terrace, the restaurant for Magic Key annual passholders above Wine Country Trattoria in Disney California Adventure.
