In its 77-page lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida in Tallahassee, Disney asked the court to intervene and order DeSantis to stop punishing the company for what it says is constitutionally protected free speech., the suit was filed “minutes after a Disney World oversight board appointed by DeSantis voted to void a deal that gave the company authority over design and construction decisions in its sprawling properties near Orlando.
