Additionally, the September 29 Wish movie trailer introduced audiences to many of the movie's supporting characters, especially Alan Tudyk's talking goat Valentino — whose voice is comically deep and does not suit the tiny adorable animate creature at all . And, of course, the new footage from Disney included some snippets of one of the songs in Wish, highlighting how the movie will live up to the studio's tradition of animated musicals.
It isn't a certainty that Wish will repeat Strange World's failures, as the 2022 movie had a lot of issues, most notably its marketing, but Wish is being released at a time when multiplexes will be full of blockbuster movies.
Together the star, Asha, and Valentino, who can now talk thanks to the magic of the star, journey across the Kingdom of Rosas to stop the encroaching threat. As the movie is part of the celebration of 100 years of Disney Animation, having a wishing star as a central character in the Wish movie plot is not a coincidence.
