A migrant was killed and another was injured during a shooting on July 28 east of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry
Detectives released sketches Thursday of three of the four men wanted in connection with a shooting that killed one migrant and injured another along the U.S.-Mexico border earlier this year, according to officials.
According to the survivor, he and his friend had crossed into the United States through a gap in the border fence, approximately 3 miles east of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry, earlier that morning, said sheriff’s Sgt. Tim Chantler in a news release.A group of four men approached the two friends and asked who they had paid to cross the border, Chantler said.
