El receptor Cooper Kupp podría debutar esta temporada el domingo en el duelo de los Rams de Los Ángeles ante los Eagles de Filadelfia.
El entrenador Sean McVay dijo el viernes que Kupp será activado de la lista de lesionados y jugará en el SoFi Stadium “a menos de que algo suceda en las próximas 48 horas”. Kupp regresó esta semana a entrenar con los Rams tras perderse el primer mes de la temporada regular con una lesión en el tendón de la corva. El MVP del Super Bowl 56 se lesionó al inicio del campamento de entrenamiento, pero se agravó la lesión a finales de agosto.
Kupp no ha jugado desde mediados de noviembre del 2022. Se perdió los últimos ocho juegos de la campaña anterior por una lesión en el tobillo tras atrapar 75 pases para 812 yardas y seis anotaciones. Kupp tuvo una de las mejores temporadas en la historia en el 2021 y ganó la triple corona de recepciones antes de llevar a los Rams al título del Super Bowl.
