“There’s been a lot of teams and a lot of younger kids that now can’t play because those fields are messed up and have been vandalized. It’s another thing that impedes on our culture and takes away from our community,” Parent Ryan Heathers said. “During games, we’ve had times where you hear gunshots going off. It never used to be that way. Lot of transients and homeless that live along the river, doesn’t seem like there’s a lot being done,” he said.
