“I feel his frozen fingers trail up my thigh,” Hutchinson writes. “He tilts his chin up. The whites of his eyes look jaundiced. My eyes dart to [Trump lawyer] John Eastman, who flashes a leering grin.” Hutchinson, 27, was an assistant to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows during the last days of Donald Trump’s presidency. She was relatively unknown until her explosive testimony in front of the House Jan. 6 committee, in which she described unhinged actions by Trump on the day of the Capitol riot.
“I find Rudy in the back of the tent with, among others, John Eastman,” Hutchinson writes. “I lower my eyes and watch his free hand reach for the hem of my blazer.”
