MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A LaRue woman was killed when her car went off the road and struck a culvert, according to the State Highway Patrol. Amber Pitts, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred at about 7:18 p.m. Friday on Ohio 37 in Marion County, the patrol says. Pitts reportedly was driving a 2007 Ford Fusion south on Ohio 37 when the car went off the east side of the road and hit a culvert.
