Even as the No. 2 pick in draft, C.J. Stroud knows he has to earn his job with Texans, and that's just fine with him.

Houston was Stroud’s first top-30 visit. He said he left feeling good about Houston, and when he woke up on the day of the draft, he had a feeling that was where he was going. Throughout Stroud’s and Anderson’s 30-minute news conference, Stroud displayed a sense of humor. He talked about his desire to be a great teammate and a leader of this Texans team and joked that he had had some prior experience doing it.
He also joked that he was confused when he was leaving the stage and saw Houston was picking again at No. 3.
