Investors have launched a shopping spree for South Bay apartment complexes in deals that suggest buyers still hunger for Bay Area real estate.
Here are some of the details of the recent apartment building purchases:
Midfield Apartments in Palo Alto was purchased for $12.9 million. Bodner and Alcheck were the buyers of the 22-unit apartment building at 3101 Middlefield Road, which is next to the Wellsbury complex. Centara Apartments in Milpitas was acquired for $153.5 million. Colorado-based Griffis Residential bought the complex, which is located at 501 Murphy Ranch Road, on March 30. The new owners renamed the complex Griffs South Bay.
