A Solon woman, 25, walked from her home to a fire station to report that her boyfriend assaulted her and took her cell phone.
Solon police were called to a condominium parking lot on a report of a woman speaking loudly on her cell phone while in a car. The woman was found to be intoxicated, but refused testing or to even get out of her car.At 2:50 p.m. Oct. 14, police were called to a Winchester Drive home on a report of a man and his son arguing. During the argument, the son allegedly hit his father with a stick.
The boy was then placed into a diversion program and returned to his father, 63. A formal domestic violence charge was not presented to the court.Failure to maintain physical control: S.O.M. Center Officers found a woman in the car’s driver seat speaking loudly on her cell phone. The woman smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech. She refused, however, to be tested for intoxication.
Police suspended her license and charged the woman, 47, of Olmsted Township, for failure to maintain physical control of a motor vehicle, obstructing official business, and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.At 3:55 p.m. Oct. 10, police were called to Solon Community Park, 6679 S.O.M. Center Road, on a report of two boys, 15 and 13, fighting. The younger boy had allegedly been slapped during the disagreement.At 2:25 p.m. Oct.
