San Diego State lands at No. 17, its highest since 2016 in the AP preseason poll, but it can't crack the top 25 in another ranking
Coach Brian Dutcher has been vocal in his assessment of San Diego State as a power conference basketball program, and the Aztecs were ranked like one in the preseason Associated Press poll released Monday morning.
