Honda Australia had initially sold out the new Civic Type R for 18 months car auto cars
for the Australian market, and that our loyal customers will benefit from the arrival of their vehicle within a reasonable timeframe,” Honda Australia director Carolyn McMahon said.
It is not yet clear how many examples of the Civic Type R were originally scheduled to arrive in 2023 but a report from January pegged that number at around 600 units. It appears apparent that local buyers have responded well to the more refined design of the FL5-generation Civic Type R given that between just 1,200 and 1,300 examples of the FK8 model are thought to have been sold locally throughout the course of its four-year production run.
