Vought International may still promote The Seven as The Boys universe's strongest supe faction, but one new supe team is easily far more powerful.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Seven has been touted as The Boys' strongest supe team, but from the looks of it, it is not even close to being as powerful as another supe group. According to The Boys' lore, Soldier Boy's Payback was one of the first few supe factions that took the world by storm with their public acts of heroism and behind-the-scenes drama.
Although Starlight is not a part of The Seven after The Boys season 3's events, her powers were not all that impressive when she first joined The Seven in The Boys season 1. Jordan Li's female version can already produce bursts of energy like Starlight without drawing energy from external power sources. If a hypothetical battle ensued between The Seven and Gen V's main group, Black Noir, Homelander, and Queen Maeve would give the young supes a run for their money.
In Gen V's initial episodes, Cate seemed relatively harmless with her mind-control "push" abilities, but that is only because she never revealed the true scale of her powers to her friends. Gen V's episode 6 proved that she is way stronger than anyone expected, and one touch from her could immediately take down any supe. Not just take down, but she could even "push" Homelander into killing the rest of the members of the Seven just by touching him.
However, if she falls to the ground as a giant, it could take her some time to get back up again, given how the bigger she gets, the harder she falls. In her shrunken state, she can kill anyone if she manages to get in their ear. But getting in the ears of supes like Homelander, Maeve, A-Train, and even Black Noir may not be as easy as it may seem. Jordan Li has a diverse set of powers, allowing them to stand their ground against pretty much anyone.
