Anchorage Mayor Dave Bronson announced Tyler Andrews as the city’s new Human Resources director this week. He replaces Niki Tshibaka, who resigned in February.

He has also held multiple human resources or labor relations roles with the state, and served for just over a year as human resources manager for the City of Ketchikan, according to his resume. Andrews is aof the board governing the Alaska Labor Relations Agency. He’s served as a management member since 2008, according to the mayor’s office.
