A Texas AMBER Alert has been issued for a 12-year-old girl who was last seen in Waxahachie on Wednesday, officials said.
According to the Waxahachie Police Department, Tanya Jackson left her residence on Brenna Road in Waxahachie, TX at approximately 10 a.m. on Feb. 14.Since she was reported missing, police said investigators and members of the Homeland Security Investigations North Texas Trafficking Task Force have been working to track down leads from a cell phone that Jackson left behind.
According to police, after investigating leads from cell phone calls, messages, and social media accounts from across the country and throughout the night, investigators have exhausted all possible leads. The ongoing investigation led police to believe that Jackson's well-being is at serious risk, officials said.
