Will Reichard set the SEC career record for points with an extra point in the first quarter against Arkansas. Reichard scored his 481st point, surpassing the 480 Auburn kicker Daniel Carlson amassed from 2014-17. Reichard tied the record a week ago against Texas A&M.with the Crimson Tide in 2023. While improving his touchback rate, Reichard has yet to miss a kick through six games.

Reichard has an 85.1% career field-goal rate with 74 makes in 87 tries. By passing Carlson, Reichard is seventh all-time on the NCAA scoring list. Navy’s Keenan Reynolds holds the record with 530 points.“Will Reichard is, I mean, he’s fantastic. To have really good specialists on your team is a tremendous asset. People that you can depend on in the clutch,” head coach Nick Saban said during his weekly radio show on Thursday.
