The 85-and-older 100 meters event was a hit again at the Penn Relays.

The wet weather couldn’t stop the Penn Relays this weekend, and Saturday featured the one event that everyone has to stop and watch with admiration. The men’s 85-and-older 100-meter dash went down just after lunch, and now you don’t have an excuse to get up off the couch and cut a couple laps of your own. Because the old fellas flew down the rain-soaked trek.
The winner was 86-yearpold Bob Williams, who came in at 17.50, followed by Fred Edelstein, whose age wasn’t provided, at 17.78. A trio of 86-year-olds — Larry Colbert, Joshua Buch and Jim Dunleavy — followed.
