From MarketWatch Picks: It's back-to-school season, and with it come plenty of laptop deals. Here are our favorites.
As back-to-school season creeps into these last days of summer, so, thankfully, do laptop sales. And whether or not you need one to help you hit the books next semester, game and stream your shows or finally give that crappy virus-ridden work machine from before the pandemic the boot, there are some great laptop deals to be found right now.
One we particularly love: Wirecutter’s #1 bargain laptop pick, the 2020 M1-chipped 13-inch MacBook Air is currently $200 off on Amazon and Best Buy. It’s pretty rare to see an Apple computer under $1000, especially one of this quality — to the point that this editor, who does not currently need a new laptop, is considering the investment. Also a reminder: If you’re a My BestBuy Total member, you can score two years of AppleCare for free with any Apple purchase.
