Stark upgraded his internal AI systems within the Iron Man suit to better assist him, but unfortunately, he did a little too good of a job. Tony effectively gave life to his suit, and in return, the Sentient Armor attacked him, as it didn’t trust that Tony wouldn’t simply take that life away.
