The Nintendo Switch is long past the traditional lifespan for a console and its technological limitations are rendering it unable to stand up to current generation systems for new games. Titles such as Hogwarts Legacy have struggled in making versions that can run on the outdated system, and Nintendo itself appears to be focusing heavily on remakes and remasters.

Simply by carrying an active 3DS around, there was a possibility of it pinging other people's active systems in a friendly little anti-social way of acknowledging each other.
7 Retain The Ability To Be Handheld Or Docked The greatest feature leading to the Nintendo Switch's success was the option it gives to be used either in handheld mode or docked. Although the Switch 2 could include new technology that eliminates the need for an actual dock, being able to swap between handheld or playing on a television is something that Nintendo would be foolish to not carry forward.
5 Awesome Exclusive Launch Titles Despite all the talk of technological advancements and new system gimmicks, often what becomes the deciding factor for many on whether to buy a new console comes down to the games that are available on it. Particularly in the case of Nintendo, which traditionally has its own market of family-friendly games that it has become known for, releasing a new console without a fantastic launch title exclusive to the system would be hazardous.
